Today, Amanda and Adrian Costa are among Salón's most influential and admired Argentine tango performers and teachers. Their teaching is inspired by the Milongueros who developed Salón Tango from the 1940s :

Amanda and Adrian have dedicated the past 20 years to perfecting the aesthetics and quality of their art. The virtuosity of their dance seems to those who watch them disconcertingly elegant and simple. Their dynamic style, full of finesse and grace, is the result of a work of remarkable technicality and musicality.
As a couple in life, their tango is a real dance of emotion, intense and sensual, without artifice.

Known and recognized for having been pioneers in the transmission of the
socio-cultural aspects of a Social tango - study of the music, the codes of the milonga, the tango history- they have never stopped transmitting the tango with passion and requirement.

The style they teach is characterized by the search for quality, precision and elegance through walking but also through more complex figures. Excellent teachers and philosophers, every class with them is a real treat for body and soul.

Settled for 20 years in the west of France, they give regular lessons in La Rochelle within the Toca Tango association. They are also the referent Maestros of Abrazo Tango in Angoulême and La Tangueria du Port in Nantes, a place dedicated to tango since 2002. They perform there once a month.

They are regularly invited as Maestros all over the world: United States, Costa Rica, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea, Brunei, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Tunisia, Morocco…

OUR PHILOSOPHY: " SOCIAL TANGO "

Originally the word "tango" was enough on its own.
Today we add the word "social" to redefine an aspect of tango that has been lost, misunderstood or mistransmitted. For more than 19 years we have been trying to spread this aspect of tango which is too often neglected.
What is "social tango"?
It is neither more nor less than Le Tango.
The tango as a "group dance" before being a "couple dance", an openness to others before being a withdrawal into oneself.
It's sharing a common space and allowing everyone to experience the pleasure of dancing.
To dance the tango is to go beyond styles, tastes and prejudices.
Dancing socially means abandoning our egos for a tanda and circulating the track to better share it.
We make every effort to ensure that the milongas we organize are totally in accordance with this fundamental principle.
